Why the Ocean?

You might have noticed that we've started bringing a bit more of an aquatic and nautical theme into the Topoda website, our content and even some of our wording.

Right now, Topoda is tiny. We're a family business made up of just four people, with a small collection of products and a whole lot of ideas. But the thing we're trying to build is much, much bigger.

And what better way to represent that than the ocean?

The ocean is enormous. It's vast, constantly changing and, despite how much we've explored it, there is still an incredible amount that we don't understand or have even discovered, which is how we see Topoda:

We're starting with four people and a handful of ideas, but we're aiming for something that can grow far beyond where we are today.

Our products are designed around the same idea of expansion. You start with a few tiles, connect them together, add more, rearrange them and gradually build something much bigger than what you started with.

It's a bit like dropping a tiny pebble into a huge ocean. We're starting small, but we don't want to stay small. We've got a lot planned, and there's a huge amount of unexplored territory ahead of us. So, while Topoda might be pretty small right now, we're hoping to make some very big waves.
